The land at Railway Lane Littlemore is currently in the ownership of W E Black, the parent Company of the Cantay Group. An inter-company transaction has been agreed for the transfer of the landholding into Cantay Estates for the purposes of pursuing a planning application and development at the site.

Terms have been agreed between Cantay and the City Council Housing Company for the sale of the completed development as a wholly affordable housing development to bolster the provision of affordable housing in the City.

The scheme will be designed to comply with Oxford City Councils current carbon reduction requirement  exceeding 40% which will include the use of PV’s, air source heat pumps and other renewal technologies.

A planning application is anticipated in early 2021. Commencement on site is currently targeted for Autumn 2021 with Phase 1 delivery anticipated in early 2023.  Pre-app proceedings are now under way.

Cantay are extremely excited to be attached to the Councils programme for the provision of affordable homes in Oxford.
