Cantay Estates acquired the building from GreenSquare Group in the summer of 2020. The proposed development is the extension and reconfiguration of the existing building to provide 20 individual apartments as discount housing to those in acute housing need through an agreement with either the City Council or other affordable housing provider.

Ground floor office/work space and break out areas will be available to occupants to offer home working and meeting facilities.

A planning application is anticipated prior to the end of 2020.
