Cantay Estates acquired the former office building from GreenSquare Group in the summer of 2020. The building is located in Barns Road adjacent to Between Towns Road in the heart of the Cowley shopping area. The area is the subject of major change including the proposed new residential/retail/hotel development proposed for Templars Square and other developments planned for Between Towns Road.

The proposed development is the demolition of the existing building and its replacement with residential dwellings through the ZA permitted development process.

The new proposal comprises 20 small individual residential units on a car free basis as the site is located in the Cowley district centre.

Construction is proposed to commence in Spring 2023, with completion anticipated in early 2024.
